IPTV/OTT/HYBRID TV + Private/Public/Hybrid Cloud:

In Huawei as Solution Analyst (TPL-Technical Project Lead) responsible for Global Market Video Solution Sales (Pre-Sales) to large carrier’s for End to end TV & media Solution including Private/Public Cloud design à IaaS (private, hybrid, public), PaaS platforms and SaaS Software in order to assist through the cloud transformation journey with solutions through cloud-native components implemented via Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) from providers such as Huawei Video Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

EOC:

In Nextra EOC project working as Team Lead for end to end planning, commissioning and deployment our work is to provide ISP services over coaxial Network in mixing with CATV network.

· Planning, Commissioning and Maintenance of Ethernet over Coax (EOC) products for providing Internet services to various MSO’s/LCO’s.

· Tested various EOC products- Master (220V/60V), Slaves, and Jumpers of various vendors such as – DBC, Richer Link, Link Star, HKT, Lootom, Hkvision and many more. 

· Designing Network of 55 LCO’s in Delhi NCR with direct coax line without CATV signal mixing and 25 LCO’s with CATV signal mixing.

· Technical evaluation of various vendors for implementing various segments on Slave/Master such as- PPPoE, FTP and Port Forwarding etc.

· Testing and Implementation of EOC model on various CATV model like – Home Digital, Digi Cable and Den Network etc.

· Network Alarm Monitoring and Troubleshooting Network issues related to signal mixing and SNR/ Attenuation.

· Commissioning of Richerlink End to End system over various MSO’s/LCO’s.

· Managing a team for complete deployment of EOC equipment’s in the network.

· Responsible of providing E2E solution to various MSO/LCO as per their network requirements.

· Interaction with various EOC vendors such as Richerlink, Linkstar, HKT and many more for providing implementing complete solution for ISP services.

OTT:

Planning and Commissioning of Video Data Center to provide Live Channel & Video on Demand (VOD) content on various platforms such as – OTT, IPTV & Multi-Screen. Integration of OTT services on Android STB. Developed Android applications using Android SDK for Android STB on multiple android OS versions (Gingerbread, Jelly Bean, Ice Cream Sandwich) for offline/online VOD content streaming. 

IPTV: 

In MYWAY IPTV project our work is to provide IPTV Services through DSL Modem to ride over BSNL and MTNL network, End-to-End Network element which includes: Booting Process, VOD, Video Streaming, and IPTV Products.

· O&M of IPTV Headend which includes Broadcast Headend (H.264 Part 10) from Scientific Atlanta, Harmonic, Envivio, Tandberg.

· Network Alarm Monitoring and Troubleshooting Network issues relates to IRD/ ENCODER, VOD Servers, and DRM (Verimatrix) (Digital Right Management).

· On Demand Content Ingestion, EPG (Electronic Program Guide) ingestion on respective servers (VOD, TVINFO).

· Technical evaluation of various vendors for middleware, DRM, VOD, Headend and network testing & monitoring. Key part of the technical team responsible for choosing the various vendors to provide complete eco-system.

· Commissioning of Seachange End to End Middleware & VOD system and Verimatrix DRM.

· Integration of IP STB's with Middleware - Airties.

· Implementation of Seachange VOD system with external WEBARC system and applications like TSTV, Schedule TV, nPVR, nVOD etc.

· Interaction with UI vendor for implementing the UI as per the requirement from marketing team.

· Key part of the technical product team responsible for implementing various applications like UGC, MapMyIndia, EducationOnDemand, Games, RailwayInfo, Astrology on IPTV platform. Integration of Banks payment gateway with IPTV platform.

· Managing IRD / Encoders (Scientific Atlanta / Harmonic / Envivio) using NMS from various vendors (ROSA Elementary manager, Harmonic, Envivio).

· Responsible for User Interface (Testing, Working and functionality) of STB’s (SET TOP BOX) and resolve them by Remote Access (Telnet).

· Handling broadcast streams of over 180 channels and VOD (Video on Demand) streams to Pan India and providing resolution to other teams for any issues, Channel Up gradation, Provisioning of STBs.

· STB flashing and troubleshooting. 

Mobile TV:

· Planning, initialization and Maintenance of Mobile TV for Live Channels & VOD with different profiles for 2G & 3G Networks. Commissioning and handling system provided by various vendors i.e., Envivio Encoder (Encoding & Profiling of Live streams with multi 2G & 3G profiles.), Seachange Servers (For Web based UI/Client, API (EPG), VOD Content Distribution System/Ingestion of VOD Content, WOWZA Streamer (For Streaming of 2G & 3G Links in the network.

· Configuration & Profiling of Envivio Encoders for addition & deletion of new channel for both 2G & 3G profiles(contains : AV  Codec’s/Bitrates/Resolution/Format) for both RTSP & HTTP Streams.

· Encoding of VOD content (TV shows/Movies) in multiple profiles for 2G & 3G networks with desired AV Codec’s, Resolution, Bitrates) in .3gp/mp4 format.

· Ingestion of VOD content in Seachange (Adrenalin) system containing Hinting & HSS Indexing for both RTSP & HTTP streams.

· Interaction with UI vendors (Netprofit & SPB) for the implementation & changes required in Mobile TV web based UI/Client.

· Commissioning, Configuration & Handling of various servers as per the requirement of vendors (Seachange/SPB) containing Hardware & Software configurations. Configurations contains: Hardware (Processor, RAM/ROM, and Hard disk with RAID1/Raid5), Software (OS/SQL/Dot Net).

· Interaction with content provider for VOD content in different profiles as per system requirements.

Testing & Troubleshooting with various Handsets/OS i.e., Apple (i-phone), Nokia (Symbian), Samsung (Android) & I-Pads. For APN setting/Mobile TV streaming compatibility. 

Project Undertaken:  

Taking charge of complete Video On Demand containing: Encoding, Encrypting, Ingestion and Making entries in POM’s (Product Offering Management)
